Q

Identify three reasons that explain why the de-Nazification process in Germany was limited (e.g. consider the role of the Allies, the aims of Germany, and the feasibility of the process).

A
  • the majority of people working were Nazis and that made it incredibly difficult to fire all of the workforce as Germany would have collapsed.
  • there were endless amounts of loop holes such as (;character references and agreeing to work for the usa)
  • many of the More important NAZIS used their connections to escape.
  • 10% of the population was nazi so it was incredibly difficult to get rid of them all.
