Q

What was the Treaty of Versailles?

A

The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty made by the Allies and sign by some German representatives that made Germany take all the blame for the devious, disastrous events that occured in WWI. It also made them pay the entire war cost for everyone who participated in the war, and it also split off some land in Germany to give to the Allies. This treaty was very unfair and it harmed Germany a lot. Later, this treaty would backfire and would be a leading factor into causing WWII to happen.
