Does the data reflect reality correctly? Example: A customer address correctly entered as “123 Main St” instead of “132 Main St”.
Completeness
Are all required data fields filled in? Example: A sales form that includes name, phone number, and purchase amount.
Consistency
Is the data uniform across systems/time? Example: Sales revenue showing the same amount in CRM and financial systems.
Uniqueness
Are there duplicate entries” Example: Removing multiple entries for the same customer in a contact database.
Timeliness
Is the data available when needed? Example: Inventory updated in real-time before placing an order.
Validity
Does data conform to rules/formats? Example: Email field correctly containing “@” and a domain.
