- nominal
- ordinal
- interval

What is nominal data?
A
mostly names and categories
e.g sex, age, occupation

What is ordinal data?
A
data is ordered
e.g likert scales, shoe size

What is interval data?
A
distances between data points is equal but no true zero
e.g temperature, IQ, pH measure

What is ratio data?
A
Same as interval but it has a true zero
e.g no. of children a person has, height, weight, score on a test
