2.Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo or mail (other than dangerous goods) and baggage;
3.Passenger handling staff;
Flight crew members, loadmasters, load planners and flight operations officers/flight dispatchers;
- Crew members (other than flight crew members).
Flight 592 ValuJet -case study

DG
Dangerous Goods (DG):
Articles or substances which are capable of posing a hazard to health, safety, property or the environment and which are shown in the list of dangerous goods in the ICAO Technical Instructions
Dangerous Goods accident
results in fatal or serious injury to a person or major property or environmental damage.
Dangerous Goods incident

Any occurrence relating to the transport of DG which seriously jeopardizes the aircraft, or its occupants is also deemed to constitute a dangerous goods incident.

UN number
The four-digit UN number on the Transport of Dangerous Goods to identify a substance or a particular group of substances.
Exception
A provision in Annex 18 which excludes a specific item of dangerous goods from the requirements normally applicable to that item.
Exemption
An authorization, other than an approval, granted by an appropriate national authority providing relief from the provisions of the Technical Instructions.
