Matching movement to sound.
What are facial expressions?
Use of the face to show mood, feeling or character.
Things you need to include in dances:
Formation
Simple Canon
Cumulative canon
Simultaneous canon
What is formation?
Shapes or patterns created by the dancers.
What is simple canon?
Performing the same movement one dancer after the other.
What is cumulative canon?
Collecting dancers along the way.
What is simultaneous canon?
Dancers performing different movement at the same time.
Name technical skills needed in dance:
Flexibility Accuracy Co-ordination Control Strength Stamina Posture and alignment
What is flexibility?
The range of movements in the joints.
What is accuracy?
Being specific when executing movement e.g. making sure my arms are straight.
