Daily's Flashcards
DEC/EDECU improves transient droop compensation how?
DEC/EDECU rec’s signals from NR and collective and are compared with NP and Q signals. A priority signal is sent to trim the torque motor in the HMU to compensate for the demand.
How does the DEC limit TGT?
DEC commands HMU to limit fuel when TGT reaches it’s limiting value.
DE= TGT 879 +-9 Contingency= 903 +-9
when EDECU limits TGT? (at 2.5 contingency)
- NP below 96%
- Greater than 3% droop between reference NP and actual NP.
- Greater than 5% per second NP droop rate exists and NP less or equal to NP reference speed
(note: edecu not dependent on Q below 50%)
DE= TGT 879 +-9 Contingency= 903 +-9
what are DEC/EDECU fault codes?
how are they displayed?
- Failure on a selected input signal will display Q code.
- 4seconds on, 2 seconds off on MFD
