1
Q

DEC/EDECU improves transient droop compensation how?

A

DEC/EDECU rec’s signals from NR and collective and are compared with NP and Q signals. A priority signal is sent to trim the torque motor in the HMU to compensate for the demand.

Q

How does the DEC limit TGT?

A

DEC commands HMU to limit fuel when TGT reaches it’s limiting value.

Q

when EDECU limits TGT? (at 2.5 contingency)

A
  • NP below 96%
  • Greater than 3% droop between reference NP and actual NP.
  • Greater than 5% per second NP droop rate exists and NP less or equal to NP reference speed

(note: edecu not dependent on Q below 50%)
