At 7,000 feet, you start to experience engine roughness. Describe the correct procedure.
1) Pitch for 73KTAS
2) Turn fuel pump on
3) Change tanks
4) Turn on alternate air
5) Check engine indications
6) Adjust throttle, prop, mix
7) Switch to left, right, mags
8) Prepare for emergency landing
Emergency Landing
1) Pitch for 73KTAS
2) Select the best landing site
3) Consider the wind direction
4) Declare emergency on 121.5 or ATC. Squawk 7700.
5) Fuel selector = off.
6) Flaps down
7) Turn ignition off.
8) Turn battery off.
9) Alternator off.
10) Land as slowly as possible.
What do you do when there is an electrical fire in the cockpit?
1) Cut the emergency line. Flip on
2) Turn off battery.
3) Turn off alternator.
4) Turn off cabin heat.
5) Land as soon as able.
How would you react to an overvoltage in flight?
1) Turn on essential bus
2) Leave the battery on
3) Turn off the alternator
