Diagnostic method of arrhythmia
A
- Check the patient’s PMR
- ECG (Electrocardiogram)
- Exercise ECG:
- 24-hour-Holter monitor measurement: patient wears a portable tape recorder connected to disks on patient’s chest that record the heart’s rhythm during daily activities - Echocardiogram
- non invasive: use ultrasound to identify the shape of the heart - Coronary Angiography
- procedure that uses a special dye (contrast material) and x-rays to see how blood flows through the arteries in your heart - Thyroid function test (TFT)
- Hyperthyroid: tachycardia
- Hypothyroid: bradycardia - Urea and Electrolytes test (UREs)
- Manual pulse palpitation
