  1. Base - an imaginary line between the 2 humeral epicondyles
  2. Medial border - Pronator teres muscle
  3. Lateral border - Brachioradialis muscle
  4. Apex - meeting of the medial and lateral borders (brachioradialis overlapping pronator teres)

  1. Median nerve - leaves fossa by passing between the two heads of pronator teres
  2. Terminal part of brachial artery and the beginning of both radial and ulnar arteries:
    a. Radial artery leaves fossa by passing deep to apex
    b.Ulnar artery leaves fossa by passing deep to pronator teres m
  3. Biceps tendon - passes backwards to reach its insertion in the radial tuberosity
  4. Radial nerve and its posterior interosseous branch:
    a. The radial nerve leaves the fossa by passing deep to the brachioradialis m
    b. The posterior interosseous nerve leaves the fossa by piercing the supinator m
