A

simple squamous
-endothelium, lung alveoli

simple cuboidal
- pancreaus, thyroid

simple columnar
-ciliated: respiratory tract, uterine tubes,
-non-ciliated: duodenum, colon, ducts of many glands

stratified squamous
-epidermis of cutaneous membranes and linings of mouth and vagina

stratified columnar

pseudastratifed columnar
-sperm carrying ducts (non ciliated) and trachea (ciliated)

Q

outline the PNS

A

PNS –> sensory (afferent) and motor (efferent)

motor –> somatic (voluntary) and autonomic (involuntary)

Autonomic –> sympathetic (Fight and flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest)
