Malfunction in hearts electrical system = stop function

Chest pain, discomfort, pressure, squeezing or fullnes I chest, cold sweat, nausea, fatique

Immediate collapse, no pulse, unconscious

What can be done if don’t respond to verbal qs?
use painful stimuli
Trapeziius pinch: pinch trap msucle firmly with thumb and two fingers
Clavicle tap: stand or kneel beside upper body, use index and middle finger to tap on persons clavicle. Tap on one side then other if no response.
Head-tilt, chin lift maneveor
Ensure lying on back
One hand on persons forehead
Gently tilt back by applying pressure with plam of hand
Use fingertips to tilt chin upwards and slightly forwards
Jaw-thrust maneuver
Ensure lying on back and flat surface
Kneel at top of head
Place heels of both hands on either side of jaw
Use fingers to push angles of lower jaw upward
Use thumbs to push down slightly on chin and open mouth
Hold jaw
