Life expectancy at birth-
What is it?
The average number of years to be lived by a group of people born in the same year.
Indicators of Development:
Infant mortality-
The number of deaths of infants under 1 year per 1000 live birth.
Indicators of Development:
Birth Rate-
Number of live babies born, per 1000 people per year.
Indicators of Development:
What is GNI per capita-
The total income received by the country from its residents and businesses regardless of whether they are located in the country or abroad.
Indicators of Development:
Fertility Rate-
Average number of children that would be born per woman if all women lived to the end of their child bearing age.
What is the stool of development?
It is a model of a stool with three legs. Each leg has all of the different topics a country has to develop before becoming a fully developed country.
What are the three different legs of the stool of development?
- Social
- Economic
- Environmental
Which way will the line of best fit go when there is positive correlation?

This is a composite score that gives each country a score of between 1 and 0.
