Crowdsourcing is outsourcing tasks to a large group of people, usually online, instead of using traditional employees or suppliers.

Ideas are kept secret, and the company picks the winner without public input.

Users submit ideas, and the crowd votes to decide the winner.
Panel Selects
Users submit ideas → The crowd refines them → A panel selects finalists → The crowd votes for winners.

Challenges in Crowdsourcing
- Quality Control: Not all crowd-generated content is reliable or accurate.
- Security Risks: There is a risk of fraud and data privacy concerns.
- Participant Motivation: Users may not contribute meaningfully unless give incentives.
