So that blood vessels inside their mouth can abosrb warmth from the sun, this raises the body temperature and gives them energy to hunt at night

So that they can see and breathe when body is submerged in water

The disease caused boils and dark patches covered the bodies of the patients who had the disease.
How did the plague spread to the countryside?
By townspeople fleeing to the countryside to escape the disease but spread the disease to unaffected people
Why was there shortage of food during the time of plague?
There were fewer people to work and farm
Why did the peasants revolt during the time of plague?
The peasants demanded higher wages.
How was bubonic plague caused and spread?
Fleas living on rats passed on the disease when they bit people.
