What are the 2 seperate types of ventilation systems?
Waitemata station and tunnel are controlled by the ICS system
Waitemata station to Maungawhau are controlled by TVS
If the TVS fails can you use Waitemata as a terminating station for trains?
Yes
If there is a failure of the CRL TVS can trains run?
No
Why is traction able to isolate one or all traction sections in the CRL?
To ensure when an incident occurs, trains within the non-incident tunnel can continue to the next stations while the incident tunnel is isolated
Which cross passages have no lobbies or linking corridors?
XPA and XPB because the doors link straight to the adjacent tunnel
Which cross passage has a limited capacity for refuge at the bottom at the stairs?
XPG
How many trains are allowed per platform or tunnel section between platforms
1 except for when coupling/uncoupling/recovering
What needs to be done before you can authorise a track occupancy?
TC needs to contact Stations Control to confirm rechecks have been completed and tunnel systems are in maintenance mode
