What are the pre-checks before authorizing a rail vehicle to pass a signal at stop? (5)

A

Confirm they are stopped at the signal
Confirm the points are correctly set and secure and the route is correctly set to the next signal in advance (unless into TWA)
Another rail vehicle has not encroached onto a section of the track
Confirm there are no conflicting movements
If there is an obstruction confirm it is safe to proceed and ensure the Operator is advised
