A scheme which aims to to reduce crime by involving the community in activists that promote safety of assist with the detection of crime,i.e. patrolling the streets or vigilant.

To set one up discuss with neighbours and find out who’s interested, contact the Neighbourhood Watch Network to register the group and contact local police authority. Appoint a coordinator and receive regular police updates.
How can “pulling levers” policing prevent crime in the environment
this is when authorities attempt to use all legal means to deter criminal behaviour. It is a special form of deference aimed at crime prevention based on the concept that a criminal will weigh up the cost and benefit of committing a crime.
Involves selecting a particular crime problem and pulling together a law enforcement group aimed at this crime
