E = engage and explain
A = account, clarification and challenge: allow the witness to first give their account of the event with no interruptions
C = closure: close the interview appropriately

What is forensic hypnosis
A
based on the assumption that witnesses may be able to retrieve information that was not available to them otherwise
research suggests it places witnesses in a suggestible state where they can easily be misled by the viewer.
