Active aggressive offenders
They are persons who commit crimes because of inducement, promise, or reward. They are gullible, easily persuaded to perform acts in violation of the penal laws.
Passive inadequate offenders
Those who commit crime with motive or intention and with full possession of their mental faculties. “Killing with evident premediation”
Rational offenders
They commit crime without knowing the nature and quality of his act. “Mad killer”
Irrational offenders
Lowest form of criminal career. Engage in crimes that require limited skill.
Ordinary offenders
They are highly skilled and able to perform criminal acts with the least chance of being detected.
Professional offenders (Shoplifters)
Persons that commit crime in the heat of passion, anger, or revenge, and accidental in nature.
Emotional offenders
Persons who commit crimes for financial gain and are usually recidivist or repeaters. Sympathetic approach is not effective.
