- for example, many schools will be served by a ‘campus cop’ who is either permanently resident at the school, or visits on a regular basis

- provides intelligence and investigative resources for major crime or when public safety is at risk
- for example, they deal with major crime investigation, public protection, organised crime, counter terrorism and human trafficking
