Muslim teachings on crime
“God commands justice”-God expects fairness. He is the All-Just.Muslims are also expected to demonstrate this. A punishment must fit the crime.
“Do not break oaths after you have sworn them “-honouring promises is important and a test from God to make sure you can uphold the law by maintaining justice and fairness for all.
“On the day of resurrection he will make clear to you those things you differed about”-this reminds Muslims that they are accountable for their actions so they should be more conscious of their behaviour as it will come back to them on the day of judgement.
