CREATIVE REPRESENTATION OF A LITERARY TEXT BY APPLYING MULTIMEDIA SKILLS Flashcards
means that computer information can be represented through audio, video, and animation in addition to traditional media (i.e., text, graphics drawings, and images). It is the field concerned with the computer- controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any other media where every type of information can be represented, stored, transmitted and processed digitally.
MULTIMEDIA
an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media. Video was first developed for mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode-ray tube (CRT) systems which, in turn, were replaced by flat panel displays of several types.
VIDEO
a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. In traditional animation, images are drawn or painted by hand on transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and exhibited on film. Today, most animations are made with computer-generated imagery (CGI). Computer animation can be very detailed 3D animation, while 2D computer animation (which may have the look of traditional animation) can be used for stylistic reasons, low bandwidth, or faster real-time renderings.
ANIMATION
In literary theory, a text is any object that can be “read”, whether this object is a work of literature, a street sign, an arrangement of buildings on a city block, or styles of clothing. It is a coherent set of signs that transmits some kind of informative message. This set of signs is considered in terms of the informative message’s content, rather than in terms of its physical form or the medium in which it is represented.
TEXT
a visual representation of something, while a digital image is a binary representation of visual data. These images can take the form of photographs, graphics and individual video frames. For this purpose, an image is a picture that was created or copied and stored in electronic form.
IMAGES
term used to describe any sound or noise in a range the human ear is capable of hearing. Measured in hertz, the audio signal on a computer is generated using a sound card and heard through speakers or headphones. Any digital information with speech or music stored on and played through a computer is known as an audio file or sound file. One of the most common types of audio file formats used today is the MP3
AUDIO
is a blog that focuses primarily on the topic of literature.

LITBLOG
a technique of visually depicting relationships between ideas. The main features of this simple method include a key visual or concept placed at the center of the page, and branches that originate from that central figure and spread out into smaller branches, each representing a distinct piece of the core concept
MINDMAPPING
type of Filipino poem, consisting of four lines with seven syllables each with the same rhyme at the end of each line - that is to say a 7-7-7-7 syllabic verse, with an AABB rhyme scheme. The modern tanaga still uses the 7777 syllable count, but rhymes range from dual rhyme forms: AABB, ABAB, ABBA; to freestyle forms such as AAAB, BAAA, or ABCD.
MOBILE PHONE TEXTULA
presentation of a series of still images (slides) on a projection screen or electronic display device, typically in a prearranged sequence. The changes may be automatic and at regular intervals or they may be manually controlled by a presenter or the viewer. Slide shows originally consisted of a series of individual photographic slides projected onto a screen with a slide projector.
SLIDESHOW PRESENTATION
presentation of a series of still images (slides) on a projection screen or electronic display device, typically in a prearranged sequence. The changes may be automatic and at regular intervals or they may be manually controlled by a presenter or the viewer. Slide shows originally consisted of a series of individual photographic slides projected onto a screen with a slide projector.
TAG CLOUD
is the adapting of a literary source (e.g. a novel, short story, poem) to another genre or medium, such as a film, stage play, or video game. It can also involve adapting the same literary work in the same genre or medium just for different purposes, e.g. to work with a smaller cast, in a smaller venue (or on the road), or for a different demographic group (such as adapting a story for children)
