Epstein-Barr Virus
Cytomegalovirus (less common)
Mono Precautions
Contact with oropharyngeal secretions
Mono Assessment
Lethargy (Hallmark)
Malaise
Sore Throat
Fever
Increased atypical lymphocytes
lymphadenopathy
Splenomegaly
Hepatomegaly
Tuberculosis Assessment
Children are typically asymptomatic
