Priority 1:
Signal one: Respond immediately, officer at risk of GBH or death. 3 tone alerts via radio.
Priority 2:
Urgent response: Respond immediately (unless responding to a priority 1), serious threat to life or property, urgent action required to apprehend offenders. 2 tone alerts via radio.
Priority 3:
Non-urgent response: Respond when there are no priority 1 or 2 outstanding.
Priority 4:
Routine response: Routine or administrative. Generally does not involve a member of the public. 1 alert tone.
Priority 5:
No police response required.
Code red:
Urgent duty response. Lights and sirens
