Define the Mosaic Covenant
Made with the chosen nation, Israel, after the Exodus and at Mt Sinai. It was made to be a “schoolmaster” to bring Israel to Christ Jesus, the Savior of the world.
Define the Palestinian Covenant
Made in the land of Moab with the second generation out of Egypt of the chosen nation of Israel. It was given at the end of the forty years wanderings in the wilderness and just before they entered into the land promised in the Abrahamic Covenant. It laid down for all generations the conditions for entering and maintaining the promised land.
Define the Davidic Covenant
Made with David after the death of Saul and David’s enthronement at Jerusalem. It involved David’s Seed, House, Throne, and Kingdom both naturally and spiritually. It pointed ultimately to the everlasting Throne and Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, David’s greatest Son.
Define the New Covenant
Made by the Lord Jesus Christ immediately prior to His death at Jerusalem. It was made with the twelve apostles, who represented the House of Israel and the House of Judah, after the flesh, but were the foundation of the New Covenant Church, being the twelve apostles of the lamb.
Define the Everlasting Covenant
Made in Eternity, before Time began, in the counsels of the eternal Godhead, between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It was made before the creation of man and the entrance of sin into the human race. Man was not a party to it but the object of it.
What was the relationship between the Mosaic Covenant and the Abrahamic Covenant?
The Abrahamic Covenant was the transcending eternal covenant while the Mosaic Covenant was the temporary additional covenant.
What made up the divisions of the words of the Mosaic Covenant?
Moral, Civil, and Ceremonial

The whole law and system of self-works, but in summary, the Ten Commandments, obedience, and love

The promises of blessing began with the ministry of Joshua as he led them in their conquest and possession of the land promised. The promises of cursing began in the time of the Judges when the people turned away from God to idols and suffered for it.
Describe the historical event when the Palestinian Covenant was ratified.
Israel wrote the words of the covenant on great plastered stones, then offered sacrifices on an altar. The Ark was centered between two mountains, the priests and Levites stood in their places, and the tribes of Israel stood at the Mount of Blessing and the Mount of Cursing as the words were read to them by Joshua and the Levites.
What was the seal of the Palestinian Covenant and how was it related to the time of Judah’s Babylonian captivity?
The seal was the Sabbath Rest. Judah spent 70 years in Babylonian captivity to make up for the 70 seventh-year Sabbaths in which they had not allowed the land to rest.
