-District judge/fast track small claim APPEAL TO circuit judge
-Circuit judge/ multi-track APPEAL TO a high court judge
Who can county court appeals be appealed to in rare instances?
-The court of appeal under rare circumstances.
Who are Multi-Track cases that were heard at the High Court appealed to?
The court of appeal.
What happens if the court of appeal is bound by a past decision?
‘leapfrog’ to the supreme court if it is of public importance.
Who does the court of appeal hear appeals from?
1-High court
2-multi track cases from the county court
What can the court of appeal do?
-Hear on point of law/ fact
-adjust remedies
What does the supreme court hear cases on?
-points of law.
-Points of general public importance.
-Must be given ‘leave’ which is permission to appeal from high court/ CA.
