Q

How do bacteria compact their DNA?

A

Domains are loops that loop back towards the OriC and compacted by supercoils & DNA binding proteins also compact eg. Dps organize DNA into protected crystalline structure during starving conditions

Q

How does cell divisoin occur?

A

origin of replication is replicated, once replisome reach termination site, the cell divides, and in each daughter cell replication of the OriC has already began from moment old replisome reach ter site.
