A

At the xyphoid process or 1/4 the distance from the tip of the xyphoid to the umbilicus lateral to the midline (there are three AT7 tender points).

A

A

The patient may complain of midthoracic, epigastric, or flank pain, as well as gastroesophageal reflux.

What is the treatment position for the AT7-AT9 tender points?

A

The patient is seated while the physician stands and places their foot on the table opposite of the tender point. The patients arm on the side of the tender point is adducted across the patient’s chest and is side-bent to the side of the tender point.
