The ability for people to access, understand and apply info about health to make decisions

What is Physical Health (DOH)?
The wellness of the body and the absence of chronic pain or discomfort
What is Social Health (DOH)?
The ability to interact with others in a cooperative and interdependent way
What is Spiritual Health (DOH)?
Having a sense of purpose and meaning in life
Feeling connected with others + society
What is mental health (DOH)?
The ability to realise our abilities to cope with the normal stress of life, work productively and make contributions to the community
What is Emotional Health (DOH)?
Coping with life events and acknowledging our own emotions as well as those around us
What is Relative health?
Your health in relation to time periods, potential, others
It can be used to compare and judge our health
What is the Dynamic Nature of Health?
Having the potential to your change your health regularly
What is the Health Continuum?
It is a scale to position your health ranging from Death/Injury to Optimal Health
