Diagnositcs COPD

A

History of dyspnea and sputum production in chronic smoker.
Physical exam: look for hyperinflation (barrel shapes chest)
Blood: evidence of respiratory failure?
Imaging: normal chest x-ray. Overinflation, flattened diaphragms.
