• Contraception prevents children from being born which are unloved and cannot be looked after
• It can also prevent sexually transmitted diseases
• God gave us the freewill and scientific knowledge for us to decide

• Many see it as their duty to have children
• The use of contraception is not ideal, it can be acceptable if a pregnancy may cause harm to the women
• It can be acceptable if the women is breastfeeding or taking care of a small child
• Many use contraception to limit family size but would not accept permanent forms of contraception
