on critical trials, the confederates gave wrong answers. 37% conformed to the group and 63% were correct. They all got the answer correct when alone

Factors that influenced conformity
informational conformity - conforming because we believe that others are accurate
normative conformity - gain the groups approval or avoid disapproval (social norms)
