BP, Urinanalysis, Organ Injury
What anticonvulsant is often prescribed for Pre-eclampsia?
Magnesium Sulphate (anticonvulsant)
What medication should women take at 16weeks to prevent pre-eclampsia?
Aspirin and Calcium
Are women with Pre-eclampsia at risk of stroke, DVT’s and cardiovascular disorders?
Yes, due to the HTN.
How does Pre-clampsia effect the baby?
Poor baby growth so they are at risk of being premature
