A

- Chemical igniters, Potassium permanganate, sugar, and glycerine (PP and sugar mixed 50/50, placed in container surrounded by kindling then the glycerine is added causing ignition)
- Electrical apparatus (Bar heater turned on facing furniture or clothing, iron left face down, toaster left with lever tied down, pan of fat left on
- Electric matches (Commercial igniter designed to light fast burning fuses. Produces a spit of flame)
- Matches and cigarettes (Cigarettes left to burn on a box/book of matches. Material such as wool can easily catch a light from this)
- Molotov cocktails
