what is a bankart lesion?
injury to the labrum of the glenoid
what is a bony bankart?
when a piece of bone fragments off the labrum of the glenoid

anterior - fall with shoulder in external rotation
what causes posterior shoulder dislocation?
fall with shoulder in internal rotation, direct blow to anterior shoulder - rare
what are the classifications of elbow dislocation?
anterior
posterior

what is the most common IPJ dislocation and how does it occur?
posterior - hyperextension injury, direct axial blow

laterally

popliteal artery & vein and peroneal nerve

flexed, internally rotated and adducted hip
