Petrol Storage
Zone 0 in the headspace of the tank.
Zone 1 extending 1m in all directions from the tank vent.
Zone 2 from the extent of Zone 1 extending downward to the tank surface and in an outward direction to approximately 2m.
Any level indication equipment must be ATEX Certified.
All ATEX Certified equipment must be on a detailed asset list and should be subject to inspections at intervals no longer than 3 years.
Hazardous Area Classification drawings should be produced.
Zone extent diagram required on the outside of the area.
EX signage required on the tanks and surrounding area.
Diesel Storage
Zone 1 in the headspace of the tank.
Zone 2 extending 0.5m radius in all directions from the tank vent.

Zone 2 for the entirety of the Store
Ex sign required on the main access door.

New EX Signage showing Zone 2, current wording needs changing.
Supply of Natural Gas Main Isolator Points
Zone 2 for the entire inside of each enclosure.
Ex Zone 2 signage required on each enclosure.
Hazardous Area Classification drawings should be stored on record in a suitable DSEAR file not inside the enclosures
