What does paint do?
It absorbs all the colours except the wanted colour.
Humans are called what based on the number of colours we are senstive too .
Trichornates. We are a 3 colour senstive animal. Red, blue and green
What is the most common colour rejected/reflected.
Green!

Colour contrast, opposites on colour wheel.
Analogous:
Colour adjacency ex.) similar greens
Warm colours:
located on right side of weel
Cool colours
left side of wheel.
Successive contrast:
Happens when a given colour is viewed in one environment (one colour background) and then in another in quick succession. The colour will be modified relative to these new surroundings.
Colour preference and meaning: Why would we prefer either warmer or cooler colours?
Humans prefer warm! Longer wavelength colours (warm) appear to advance towards the viewer (appear closer)
