  1. Normal mucosa: undergoes hyperproliferation and DNA methylation
  2. Adenoma forms: then has oncogene mutations
  3. Severe Dysplasia results from oncogene mutations: allelic deletions and aneuploidy then occurs
  4. Adenocarcinoma forms
