Briefing items to consider?

- AOI,
- De-icing at dest,
- Takeoff ALTN,
- tanker/cold fuel.
Min SAT -70C (SAT -65 for 90mins.)

A
- <3mm top fuselage/under wing,
- engine cowls frost only,
- fan ice call MOC, brush nose

things to consider during taxi out (precipitation)
A
- min oil temp >-10C for T/O.
- No OETD if slippery,
- flaps up until holding point
- no anti-skid <20kts,
- jet blast
- consider 2nd F/CTL check

Ice Shedding
A
- 70% for 30secs every 30mins
(A few seconds every 10mins if FZ/+SN.) - Also before take-off, continue if skidding.

Unheated: Add 5kts for Flap 3 (VLS+10)
Severe (5mm)/WAI INOP: VLS + 10 or Green Dot
