1) Korean War was won, Vietnam was lost
2) There was much more US media attention during the Vietnam war, as it was the first war to be highly publicized in newspapers and have live coverage on television.
Similarities
1) American Citizens were fed up with both the Korean and Vietnam war, as they thought the US was wasting troops for unwinnable victories.
2) In both wars, the US was fighting communist North countries against non-communist South countries.
