tendency for a person to attribute a positive outcome to internal factors yet attribute negative outcomes to external factors
Ex/ footballer misess goal, blames wind instead of skill

tendency for people to assume their attitudes, beliefs and behaviours are relativiely common and are more widley shared by others than they think
Ex/ justifying risk taking behaviour by claiming ‘everyone does it’

attribute your own bahviour as external factors whilst attributing internal factors to others
Ex/ you throw litter on the ground cause there is no available bin, someone else does it because they are inconsiderate
