Setup for CVR Test
RCDR GND CTL and Parking Brake must be ON to perform CVR test
LOUDSPEAKER VOLUME knob - OFF (BOTH SIDES)
ACP INT/RAD sw (CAPT and F/O) - SET to INT
INTERPHONE VOL (CAPT and F/O) - RELEASE (volume to minimum)
CVR TEST pb - PRESS AND MAINTAIN
When is a complete ADIRS alignment required?
First flight of the day
Crew change
GPS is not available and NAVAID coverage is poor on the expected route
GPS is not available and expected flight time exceeds 3 hours
International and Alaska flights
Class 2 airspace
What is required if IR positions disagree by greater than 5NM?
IR Fast alignment
When can you select the ADIRs to off?
Five minutes after block in when the FMGC and AOC have entered the preflight phase.
What are you checking on the FIRE TEST?
FIRE pushbuttons - CHECK IN and GUARDED
AGENT lights - CHECK OUT
Press each TEST pushbutton in turn and check:
– FIRE pushbutton light on
– SQUIB and DISCH lights on
– MASTER WARN lights on
– CRC
– FIRE warning on ECAM
– FIRE light on ENG panel
– Push MASTER WARN to verify MASTER WARN lights and CRC cancel
How do you check the battery voltage and what are you looking for?
BAT switches OFF
25.5 volts minimum (ensures charge above 50%)
(If ELEC system is supplied with AC power, BAT VOLTAGE check is not required)

GEAR PINS AND COVERS - CHECK
WEATHER RADAR - OFF
ENG MODE selector. - NORM
ENG MASTER 1 and 2 - OFF
LANDING GEAR LEVER - CHECK DOWN
WIPER SELECTORS - OFF

(NOTE: Each aircraft is supplied with two aircraft specific QRHs. The aircraft may operate with a single QRH onboard provided Dispatch is notified. Dispatch may place a note on the release to alert subsequent crews of a missing QRH. In this case, no additional notification to Dispatch is necessary. The missing QRH will be replaced by the Technical Publications Department within three days of notification.)
