Hypothenar/Thigh

A

-Used w: Superior Pubic/Inferior glide restriction
(Pubis palpates superior on one side)
-Patient: Off center of table/corresponding leg off table
-Doctor: Modified fencer facing caudal
-Contact: Caudal hand on distal femur/A-P stress on thigh for 4-5s before S-I thrust (S-I)
-Indifferent: On opposite ASIS

Hypothenar/Pubis

A

-Used w/: Anterior pubis/posterior glide restriction
-Patient: Supine w/ uninvolved knee/hip flexed
-Doctor: Hypothenar contact of cephlad hand on anterior aspect of involved pubis (LOD: A-P)

Hypothenar/Ilium, Palmar/Ischium

A

-Used w/: Inferior pubic/superior glide restriction
-Patient: Involved knee/hip off the table
-Doctor: Square stance on unaffected side w/ upper body contacting anterior aspect of patients tibia
-Contact: Caudal hand on ischium (P-A/I-S)
-Indifferent: On involved side ASIS (A-P)

Pubic Distraction

A

-Used w/ general pubic pain/pressure
-Patient: Supine with both knees/hips flexed
-Doctor: Facing patient at foot of table
-Contact: Palmar aspect on medial aspects of knees;Squeeze knees together to fatigue then add a shallow impulse (M-L)

Thumb/External Coccyx Push

A

-Used w/: Chronic coccyx pain (coccyx palpates anterior loss of posterior glide)
-Patient: Prone w/ Dutchman roll placed under ASIS
-Doctor: Modified fencer stance facing cephlad
-CH: Cephlad thumb contact over base of coccyx
-IH: Caudal pisiform/hypothenar contact reinforced over contact thumbnail
-LOD: I-S, slight P-A
