Mast head light definition

white light (can see all the way in front 225 degrees and to 22.5 degrees abaft.
sidelights: can see half in front 112.5 and 22.5 abaft
135 degres total (67.5 each side)

- two masthead lights in vertical line, if tow over 200 meters then THREE white lights
- 2nd masthead light in stern higher if the towing boat is over 50 meters (just like usual)

Lights for a vessel pushing something?
- If it’s rigidly connected, think of it as ONE vessel and just use power rules
- If not rigidly connected, it will have 2 masthead lights but NO towing yellow stern light

if under 25 meters: one all around white light at forward and also one at at end (except for dracones…only need back)
if 25+ meters in breadth, 2 lights near beams
if 100 meters in lenght, more white lights such that distance isn’t greater than 100 meters
if over 200 meters: diamon flag at aftermost extremity
Sailing lights
under 7 meters: nothing (maybe light if possible)
under 20 meters, can have one combined light
OR
underway: upper red light and lower green (red over green sailing machine)
