Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: Newborn up to 3 months
Ampicillin + 3rd gen cephalosporin or gentamycin
Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: 3 months to 6 years of age
3rd gen cephalosporin or Penicillin and or Chloramphenicol
Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: 7 years to adult
Penicillin or 3rd gencephalosporin
Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: any age with otitis media
3rd gen cephalosporin + oxacillin and or metronidazole
Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: any age with trauma, presence of shunt, neurosurgery
Oxacillin or vancomycin + ceftazimide
Give the emperic therapy to the following age group: any age with congenital heart disease
Penicillin or 3rd gen cephalosporin
