What is a Route?
A list of related work assets, considered “stops along the walking path. Stops represent Assets. The asset list can be related by location. Such as all pumps or by asset type, such as all fire extinguishers located in a building.
Does a route record have to be associated to a PM?
Yes if not associate to a PM record the route will not generate a work order.
Route stops identify what type of work orders?
Child Work Orders
Can you have route stops from different sites on a route?
No. Route stops assets must be within the same site.
Do all the route stops on a specified route have to use the same job plan?
Yes they must use the same job plan.
Where does the route inherit its job plan information?
Route stops adopt the job plan in the “Next Job Plan Field”
What is the minimum number of asset route stops needed for a route?
There must be at least 3 assets listed to create a route.
What alternative can be used if the minimum requirement needed for a route is not met?
if these criteria are not met, then consider using the PM hierarchy feature.
What dictates the route name and route description?
All routes must be named according to the PM standard naming convention and it should match the PM record description.
If the route stops inherit status chance field is unchecked, what does this allow for?
This allows for multiple laborers to be assigned and manage route stops individually
