What does BOM Stand for?

What is a PM auto-order and how do you set it up?
Auto Order = Asset related; Direct issued Maximo item part associated to an active Job Plan record that is automatically ordered through Maximo when the Job Plan is associated to an approved WO. This is typically conducted on planned maintenance work orders where parts are needed on a regular frequency.
What is the breadman program used for?
Non asset related parts, <$250 and turns at least 4x/year. Supplied by granger.
Can we reserve parts from physical inventory using the direct issue field?
NO - It indicates the item to be ordered versus removed from physical inventory.
Which three areas can we find the direct issue field?
The direct issue field can be found on the Job Plan, DRT and Work Order
Who is responsible for purchasing request parts in Maximo?
Integrated Supplier Buyer (Buyer). - Person responsible for purchasing requested parts in Maximo to be billed to the cost center associated.
What inventory field is reserved for identifying chemical material item number?
IPN (Intel Part Number) = required on the Maximo inventory record for chemical items.
What does the item master identify?
Part source record; Identifies the part number and details.
If a work orders requested parts are listed as material line types, what does that tell us?
Material - Line type option on DTR and work order used to order a part not listed in Maximo.Part information and details must be provided on the DTR or WOrk Order to assist the buyer in sourcing and procuring the necessary part. Always list as direct issue line item.
If parts on a PM auto order have a long lead time, how can we endure we have enough time to get the parts on site and complete the PM by the work window?
Add PM Lead Time
i. PM Record Lead Time (days) the number of days in advance of the Next Due Date Maximo will generate work orders from this PM. Check the lead time ACTIVE checkbox in order to enter or edit data in this field.
ii. PM Record Lead time Active - Specified whether to apply lead time when generating work orders from the PM record. If the check box is selected t. Maximo generates work orders from the PM record. If the check box is selected Maximo generates work orders a number of days in advance of the Next Due Date. The number of days is defined in the Lead Time Days field. If the checkbox is cleared, no lead time is applied to the next due date
