A
A uniform grey sheet or layer of cloud covering wide areas. Lighter than nimbostratus and darker than cirrostratus and frequently covers the whole sky

A
Dark grey. A low cloud found at 6000 ft above the surface and are around 6000 to 10000 ft thick. Brings persistemt, light rain.
