When does someone need cpr
They’re unresponsive and when there’s no pulse when palpating within 5-10 seconds
Where do you palpate in an adult and infant
Adult: carotid artery
Infant: brachial artery
When doing chest compressions what is the depth and rate in adult children and infant
Rate: 100-120 per minute
Depth in adult and children: 2 inches
Depth in infant: 1.5 inches
What should you do if patient is suspected of neck or spinal injury
Use the modified jaw thrust to open airways
What is the ratio of compressions to ventilation in 2 rescuer scenarios
Adults- 30:2
Child and infant- 15:2

Turn on the power
